As you may be aware, the Calgary Public Library is excited to be celebrating our 100th birthday in 2012. Over the past century the Library has become a vital, trusted and well-loved community asset, holding a special place in the hearts and minds of all Calgarians.
 
We are planning a wide range of activities to celebrate our past, present and future, and you can play an important part.
 
We are asking our friends to join the celebration by sending us birthday greetings. At the same time, we invite you to pass on to us any library stories you have so that we can share them and your greetings with the wider community. We plan to publish them on our special birthday website which was launched on 3 January 2012, www.cpl100.ca.
