The Arts Champions Congress will facilitate the conversations necessary to nurture a shift in our thinking about flexibility, resiliency and innovation and will encourage a collaborative approach to building the capacity of the arts sector in Calgary. In this dynamic environment, it will be creative, collaborative approaches that win the day.
You’re invited to join the conversation between and among artists, managers, board members, volunteers, corporate champions, government supporters and policy makers.
The full-day event will begin with an inspired keynote address from Ben Cameron, Program Director for the Arts at the Doris Duke Foundation, who has been a featured presenter on TED.com. The keynote will be followed by a variety of themed sessions in locations throughout the Cultural District.

Sounds like a really amazing
Sounds like a really amazing gathering. Wish I could be there. But hopefully we can get someone from Team Timeraiser to attend. We are excited to raise the financial ceiling the Timeraiser can pay each artist, as well double the amount of artwork available at each event. Perhaps there is a small role that the Timeraiser can be a part of to help achieve the goals of 'building the capacity of the arts in Calgary'...
