Webinar: Community Investment & Nonprofit Workspace
Wednesday, March 31, 2010 | 11:00 - 12:00p Pacific Time
Complimentary for Non-ProfitCentres Network Members | $40 for NonmembersFeaturing Dace West, Co-Director, Denver Office of Strategic Partnerships
Stephen Kasierski, Fort Baker Real Estate Project Manager, US National Park Service
China Brotsky, ED, The NonprofitCentres Network & Senior Vice President, TidesToday, nonprofits are becoming ever more important as demands for services are increasing and budgets in all sectors are dwindling. Some local and federal governments in the United States and Canada are employing the strategy of co-locating nonprofits under one roof in green nonprofit centers, where organizations can gain stability, save money in rent, and collaborate on shared back office services and programs. Hear from your colleagues who are building nonprofit centers in their districts as a strategy to revitalize blighted communities, stimulate economic activity, and provide services to their constituents in a more effective and efficient manner.

A 5RHYTHMS MOVEMENT WORKSHOP Feb 12-14 The Centre for Movement Arts, 4005 - 9 St. S.E. Calgary
A 5RHYTHMS MOVEMENT WORKSHOP
The Motion of Money-How our beliefs about money shape uswith Evangelos Diavolitsis and Anne Marie Hogya
Our relationship to money shapes our beliefs, influences our energy, and creates behaviors which affect who we are and what we manifest in the world. Our relationship to money can expand or contract us, assist or limit us, free or bind us.
Many of us become anxious when we think or talk about money. There can be tension and beliefs around money that keep us trapped in behaviors that restrict how money flows in and out of our life. These beliefs, often inherited from our families, negatively affect our energy and overall health in a variety of ways.
By paying attention to how we respond to the information in our body, we can gain tremendous insight into what we need to let out, let in, and let go of. So that rather than trap us, we can have a relationship with money that may be more fluid and inspired.
Using the 5Rhythms moving meditation practice as our map, we will explore the motion of our relationship to money and how it influences and informs our body, our energy and our potential. Through this weekend journey, we will cultivate a connection to money that will serve us, our families and our communities.
No previous movement experience is needed.
