Congratulations on the recently announced recipients of the Lieutenant Governor of Alberta Emerging Artist Awards! Calgary artists are Robin Arseneault (installation artist), Christine Cheung (painter), Anne Koizumi (film director and animator), Simon Mallett (theatre director) and Chad Van Gaalen (musician and multi-media artist). The Lieutnenant Governor and all Albertans should be thrilled with this investment.

hi! didn't really know where to post this...

I am starting up a blog about what we can all do to make our city better. I haven't really found much in the way of the arts, but i know it's out there. Programs for kids, therapeutic art programs, out of school programs, etc. Do you know anything about this kind of thing? Would be awesome!
