This Friday, August 28, a special announcement with Mayor Dave Bronconnier will be held to kick off the start of the World Skills Cultural Festival, part of the WorldSkills Competition; and to announce the details of Culture Month, a new annual celebration of the arts and creative industries in Calgary, which will begin this September.  

The event will take place at 11am in Olympic Plaza, and will include words from Mayor Bronconnier, Calgary Arts Development President & CEO Terry Rock, details on the WorldSkills Cultural Festival and a short performance from Calgary musician Jay Crocker.

All are invited to come and take part in this exciting event.
